American singer/songwriter John Mayer goes straight to N°1 this week on the world's best-selling albums chart with his sixth studio Album 'Paradise Valley' which sold 211.000 copies this first week.
Last week's N°1, Luke Bryan's 'Crash My Party' slips to N°2 after a massive 70% sales drop to 169.000 units.
The Biggest surprise of the week is Belgian singer/songwriter Stromae. His second album 'Racine Carrée' debuts at N°3 on the global Albums chart, after a huge sales week of 103.000 copies, 81.000 of it in France alone! Stromae first became famous with the striking tune 'Alors On Danse', which was a big hit across Europe in 2010.
TGT, a supergroup that consists of successful R&B singers Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank, bows at N°4 with 'Three Kings' and 79.000 sales.
52 year-old Japanese singer/songwriter Kyosuke Himuro debuts at N°6 with the compilation '25th Anniversary Greatest Anthology' and 62.000 units.
American rapper Earl Sweatshirt, member of the Los Angeles based hip hop collective Odd Future, is at N°7 with his second solo album 'Doris'. The final top ten debut this week comes from the legendary 66 year-old American singer, songwriter, author, actor, and businessman Jimmy Buffett. His 27th album 'Songs From St.Somewhere' arrives at N°8 with 57.000 copies sold.
Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/ 20 Experience' is still the best-selling album of 2013 with sales of 3,3 million copies, but Bruno Mars' 'Unorthodox Jukebox' comes closer after shifting 3,22 million copies. 'Unorthodox Jukebox' sold 26.000 copies more than 'The 20/ 20 Experience' this week.
